Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Steve Holy Headline Basin Summer Sounds | Arts & Culture
The grounds outside the Grant County Courthouse will once again be rockin' this weekend, as Basin Summer Sounds, a free, two-day music festival, returns to Ephrata.
The Cherry Poppin' Daddies, best known for their 1997 hit Zoot Suit Riot, will be Saturday night's headlining performance. Country singer Steve Holy, whose hit Good Morning Beautiful reached number one in 2002, is Friday night's headliner. Anacortes based Lonely Forest is the festival's featured Northwest artist.
Performances begin at 5:00pm Friday night and at 11:30am on Saturday. You can view the complete schedule of performances here.
Yours truly will be in attendance for the second straight year, introducing bands on Saturday evening.
