Sasquatch Expands to Two Weekends | Arts & Culture
After record ticket sales, organizers of the Sasquatch music festival have announced that the event will take place twice next summer.
The 2013 festival sold out in record breaking 90 minutes. Sasquatch will continue to be held over Memorial Day weekend, but in 2014 there will be a second festival over the 4th of July. Each event will have a separate line up.
Since it was created in 2002, Sasquatch has brought a wide range of artists and musical genres to the Gorge. Music lovers travel from all over the state and surrounding region to camp out and enjoy bands such as Mumford and Son, Coldplay, the Pixies and Kanye West.
It has not been announced when tickets for the 2014 Sasquatch weekends will go on sale.
