Eagles make donation to Search and Rescue

From the Grant County Sheriff's Office:

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Columbia Basin Aerie 2622 recently donated $500 to Grant County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue volunteers.

At the Eagles’ annual donkey baseball fundraiser on March 25th in Moses Lake, Search and Rescue (SAR) members competed against Aerie members. Even though SAR beat the Eagles by a score of 6-1 during the fun event, Aerie 2622 still donated $500 to Search and Rescue.

“Aerie 2622 has always been so supportive of the Sheriff’s Office, especially Search and Rescue,” said Sheriff Tom Jones. “The donation is greatly appreciated and helps support important public safety efforts in Grant County. Aerie 2622 absolutely lives up to the Fraternal Order of Eagles’ motto of ‘People Helping People’.”
