Warden shooting sends one to hospital | News
Warden Police are investigating after a shooting on Wednesday night sent one man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The bartender at Euro Restaurant and Lounge, 103 S. Main Street, said he heard two gunshots outside the bar around 9 pm. When police arrived they found Alfredo Mendoza, 31, standing outside the bar with a cut lip. Mendoza was checked by EMTs and declined treatment. Police said he was uncooperative with the investigation.
About an hour later, Junior Ramos, 35, of Moses Lake, was admitted to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake with a single gunshot wound to the upper arm. He had been taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.
Police believe the two incidents are related. While it is not clear if the incident is gang related, both men have been affiliated with the East Side Familia street gang.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Warden Police Department at (509) 762-1160.
