It stopped upside down in about five feet of water.
One passenger was able to get out of the Jeep before rescue crews arrived. A witness and Moses Lake Police tried to rescue to remaining three passengers but were unsuccessful. Moses Lake Fire was later able to force open door a using hydraulic force, and get a second passenger out safely. The remaining occupants of the vehicle were already deceased.
The surviving passengers were treated on scene and released. Initial investigation has determined that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
